This school will review the current understanding of the mechanisms underlying neurotransmitter release from the presynaptic terminal and its assembly. A group of leadings scientists, with expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, ultra-structure physics and mathematical modeling, will analyze the field's history, current approach and future areas of research.
