Rennan Barkana is a professor in the Department of Astrophysics at Tel Aviv University. His research interests are theoretical Astrophysics and Cosmology: 21-cm cosmology, formation of the first stars and quasars, cosmic dawn and cosmic reionization, dark matter, galaxy formation, large-scale structure, and gravitational lensing.
