Miri Gur-Arye is a Judge Basil Wunsh Professor of Criminal Law in the Faculty of Law at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research interests focus on the theoretical foundation of criminal liability, primarily on the justifications of punishment, criminal law defenses, constitutional restraints on criminal liability and the overuse of criminal law in time of crisis.
