Maria Thaker is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Her research draws upon animal behavior, stress physiology, and evolution, with a comparative and integrative approach to research questions. She is mostly interested in animal behavior at multiple spatial and temporal scales and the underlying physiological mechanisms that mediate those behaviors.
