About IIAS Advanced Schools’ General Directors
One of the key programs offered by the IIAS is the Advanced Schools program. The Advanced Schools program is a series of intensive, multi-disciplinary workshops that bring together leading researchers from around the world to discuss and explore cutting-edge topics in a variety of fields.
Award-winning international scholars, including Nobel Laureates, lead the Schools as their General Directors. Each director has brought their own unique perspective and contributions to the particular school he was heading, as well as to the institute as a whole, helping to shape research focus and direction.
