Directions to the IIAS

The Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS) is located on the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Givat Ram, Jerusalem. Our exact address is:

Getting to the IIAS:

• By Car:

  From the city center, take the Begin Highway (Route 1) towards south Jerusalem.
  Take the exit for Hebrew University/Givat Ram.
  Follow the signs to the Hebrew University and Edmond J. Safra Campus.
  Parking is available on campus.

• By Public Transportation:

  Take the Jerusalem Light Rail to the Mount Herzl.
  From there, take bus #21 or #38 to the Hebrew University/Givat Ram stop.
  The IIAS is a short walk from the bus stop.

• By Foot:

  The IIAS is located a 20-minute walk away from the Jerusalem Central Bus and Railway Station
