Our Advanced Schools program offers a range of opportunities for researchers and scholars at different stages of their careers, to attend intensive workshops, lectures and seminars on cutting-edge topics and current research trends, as well as to interact with leading experts in their field. We invite applications from a broad range of disciplines, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence, Quantum, and Complex Systems, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Life Sciences and Environmental Studies.
We have six different advanced schools, each with its own unique focus and directed by some of the most important figures in the scientific world. The schools are:
- Theoretical Physics, directed by Nobel laureate David Gross
- Mathematics, directed by Peter Sarnak
- Life Sciences, directed by Roger Kornberg
- Economics, directed by Eric Maskin
- Humanities, directed by Anthony Grafton
- Computer Sciences & AI, directed by Moshe Vardi
As a participant in one of our advanced schools, you will have the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the most distinguished researchers and scholars in your field, and to take advantage of the resources and support the IIAS provides.
