Critical editions of medieval texts, based on extant medieval manuscripts, are of crucial importance for any textual study. Methods for preparing critical editions of medieval Latin texts have been evolved at the Monumenta Germaniae Historica and elsewhere. The present workshop will acquaint participants with these methods and apply them to Hebrew and Arabic texts written in medieval times.
