Applications are open for a one-day workshop on “Mechanics and Geometry in Soft and Hard Condensed Matter,” on March 28, 2024. Led by Organizers Hillel Aharoni (Weizmann Institute of Science),
Michael Moshe (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem) and Eran Sharon (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem), the workshop will explore the intricate interplay between mechanical principles and geometric structures within both soft and hard condensed matter systems.

Workshop participants will attend insightful presentations by experts such as Eran Sharon, Moshe Harats, Leo Radzihovsky, Roni Ilan, Yair Shokef, and Daniel Podolsky, covering a wide range of topics at the intersection of mechanics and geometry in condensed matter.
