Joseph Ziegler is a professor in the Department of General History in the University of Haifa. He received his D.Phil from the University of Oxford in 1994 before joining the faculty of the University of Haifa. His area of research is medieval cultural and intellectual history. Prof. Ziegler has received numerous scholarships and prizes including the Wolfson Scholarship (1994/1995) and the Yad Hanadiv Fellowship (1996-1998).
