Mauro is a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Epistemological Studies at Sapienza University of Rome. His research interests are Medieval Hebrew translations and commentaries on Arabic and Latin philosophical and scientific texts written in 13th, 14th and 15th-century Spain, Provence and Italy.
