Robert is a professor in the Department of History and Institute for Research in the Humanities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests are: the history of the Reformation in Europe, primarily reflected in the creation in Calvinist Geneva of new institutions, new political ideas, and new ways of using print.
