Rostislav Grigorchuk

Rostislav is a professor in the Department of Ordinary Differential Equations at the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Moscow State University. His research interests are: asymptotic group theory with applications to dynamical systems; geometry and abstract harmonic analysis; low dimensional topology; bounded cohomology and L2-invariants; theory of random walks and discrete potential theory; discrete mathematics and theory of automata.
